My name is Machelle. I am the mother of four wonderful children that I adore. I am lucky to share my life with my best friend Michael. We are a strong, loving family.
We are currently settling in after relocating from Valley Springs where I had provided quality child care services. We love this area and all that is has to offer and feel so privilaged to be putting roots down here with our beautiful children. I started my carreer providing foster care for developmentally disabled adults and children over 2 decades ago and have provided childcare for the last 16 years. I have many, many years of experience in providing a reliable, quality childcare experience for your precious children in a loving, nuturing environment. I have a long list of references I can supply to you upon request.
I take my responsibility to your children very seriously, you won't find "babysitting" here. What you will find is a comprehensive, thoughtful, well planned program in place to provide your child with the nuturing environment all young children thrive in. I offer a curriculum based on the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the California Department of Education, planned to include Music and Movement, Dramatic Play, Child Directed Activities, Arts and Crafts, Literacy and Language Activities, Multicultural Awareness Activities, Age Appropriate Toys, Nutrional Education, as well as other fun and exciting age appropriate activities for your young ones. For your infant I offer a closely monitored, safe, loving environment full of learning opportunies, attention, and interaction. I was the first child care home/center in my area to achieve accreditation for my program when I lived in Lodi. This is the highest mark of quality currently available for any child care program. Accreditation is far and above licensing looking into the quality of the environment/experiences the children are offered on a daily basis. This is no small achievement and can take many facilities years to accomplish.
