Joey’s House is ready to play and learn! In recent years the California Department of Education Standards have dramatically changed. It is increasingly critical that your child be ready for entrance into school. No longer is Kindergarten a transition year. Children are expected to read grade level sight words with ease, write begining sentences, understand the value of numbers, etc. No longer is it all about playdough and paint. If you are struggling to get your child ready, let me help. I have spent years refining this School Readiness Program with the school standards in mind. It is a complete program created to include all aspects of what the children will be expected to know upon entrance into Kindergarten presented in a fun exciting way, keeping the children engaged and eager to learn more! In addition to the entertaining themes and activities planned, we will be having holiday parties and a variety of “Special Events”! For example we will have a Teddy Bear Tea Party in February so be sure to have your little one pick out his/her favorite bear and come join the fun! I will add special events and reminders as they are scheduled so feel free to check the Calendar of Events link often for the latest information.Our daily schedule will flow like this:
Keep in mind that child care services are available for families that may require an extended day of service. For those families this School Readiness Program is available to your child at no additional charge. I offer affordable full time and part time rates with no long term commitments!
